San Francisco!

So for those of you who aren't familiar with ballet, here's a little blurb on why I will be in San Francisco this summer.

Ballet companies usually have a school attached to them, so students can train right next to the professionals.  They also offer summer intensive training programs, so dancers from all around the country/world can have a chance to work with quality teachers and get a glimpse of professional life.  It's pretty common for aspiring dancers to participate in these intensives if they have the means.  At the beginning of the year, all the major schools have audition tours.  The intensives are a great way to get exposure to new teachers and the rigorous schedule usually fosters improvement.  I'm very lucky to be able to go to San Fran this summer, and I think it will be a great experience.

However, besides improving in my ballet technique over the summer, I really want to be a tourist in San Francisco and see some cool things! Who said there's anything wrong with being a tourist?  I love sightseeing.  Here's what I want to do in San Fran this summer...
